Through the duration of the Dakota Access Pipeline protests I conducted personal research on the cultural and social contexts surrounding the larger debate.

I was reminded of the environmental and social injustices that continue to plague natives despite national benefits from many aspects of these cultures and wove this piece on behalf of the native weavers who have been doing so for centuries.

20% of proceeds from this piece will be donated to

an indigenous environmental health organization. A receipt of donation will

    be emailed to purchaser.
