Artist Steffanie Goodman in front of diptych of woven art

Heirloom Culture brings you one-of-a-kind decorative art and accessories. Founder, Steffanie Goodman designs and creates meaningful and exquisite pieces to be treasured now and for future generations.

After a long career in the healthcare industry, a traumatic injury enlightened Steffanie to the power of textures, colors, and intentions to inspire and transform both person and place. Raised by a fine artist mother and garment industry executive father, she already had an appreciation for art, antiques, fashion, decor, and merchandising. Her early passion for textiles, accessories, and design had her hand-sewing much of her clothing during college and selling her handmade jewelry to boutiques during graduate school in New York City.

While healing after her injury in 2015, a friend introduced her to a Saori loom. From the moment she began weaving she was captivated.  Steffanie was awakened to the connection with female artisans of antiquity, and reconnected with her passion to create.

Today, she designs and makes unique wall hangings and accessories, and works directly with clients to create personalized art by integrating symbolic, sentimental materials and colors into the pieces. While her process is meditative and exploratory, in the end, it allows her to share beautiful and meaningful creations with others.
